What a good marketing report actually looks like

If you can't explain the report to someone outside marketing, it's a bad report.

A good monthly report fits on one page: what we spent, what it produced, what changed, and what we'll do next month.

Impressions and reach belong in an appendix, not at the top. Lead volume, cost per lead and pipeline belong at the top.

Include the things that went wrong. An agency that only reports good news is managing you, not your marketing.
